A number of documents were approved by the Shadow Commission with the intention that they should be implemented as soon as is possible after the establishment of the Assembly Commission following the May elections.

Equalities

The Assembly Commission is committed to promoting diversity and equality of opportunity both as an employer and service provider.

Following the changes made by the Government of Wales Act 2006, we are currently reviewing our Race and Disability Equality Schemes and Action Plans. The Assembly Commission is working towards a Single Equality Scheme and Action Plan for publication in 2008. More news on this project will be available on these pages in due course.
