Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Wales Branch)
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) is an international community of Commonwealth parliaments and legislatures working together to deepen the Commonwealth’s commitment to the highest standards of democratic governance.
All Assembly Members are Members of the National Assembly for Wales Branch of the CPA.
The Branch participates in CPA conferences and seminars. It has developed a particularly close link with the Parliament of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
The management of the affairs of the Branch are vested in an Executive Committee. Under the Branch Rules the Executive Committee consists of a President and Vice President (ex-officio), and 4 Members elected annually by the Members of the Branch. All Assembly Members are automatically Members of the Branch.
