Subordinate Legislation Committee
Prior to the establishment of permanent legislation committees, legislative committees were established for the purpose of conducting detailed consideration of a specific legislative proposal (either a Legislative Competence Order or an Assembly Measure). Once an ad hoc Legislative Committee concludes its consideration of a LCO or an Assembly Measure, it ceases to exist.
