The role of the Petitions Committee is to consider petitions referred by the Presiding Officer in accordance with Standing Order 28.8

Latest News

The Petitions Committee are preparing to launch an inquiry into issues related to work based learning provision for vulnerable young people. The inquiry is based on the petition submitted on the topic by Action for Children. Further details of the petition can be found here

Changes have been made the e-petitions system removing the need for those signing the petition to register.  This means that you can now submit or sign a petition in a single visit to the website.

e-Petitions

The National Assembly for Wales launched its ePetitions system on 15 April 2008. This exciting development will allow Petitions to be hosted on the Assembly's website, and will allow people to sign petitions electronically.
