Youth Homelessness

In the autumn of 2006, the Social Justice and Regeneration Committee agreed to undertake a review into "youth homelessness". The Report will be published early in 2007.

The Review will consider the issues surrounding youth homelessness in Wales in particular:

  • The provision of services for young homeless people by local authorities and the voluntary sector, including the identification of good practice;
  • The role of local authorities in applying relevant legislation to youth homelessness issues, including the identification of good practice;
  • To make recommendations.
