Inquiry into Funding Road Infrastructure

Terms Of Reference

To examine approaches to the allocation of funding for the development of road infrastructure and the interface with expenditure in other policy programmes (such as economic development and community regeneration) and the way in which changes in each are coordinated.

In particular to consider:

1.  How decisions on financial changes to the strategic road programme are coordinated with those in other programmes and their impact on those programme;

2.  How the financial impact on local government and other key partners is assessed and how these partners are involved in the decision processes.
