Committee to hold external meetings in Merthyr Tydfil and Swansea

As part of the Committee’s Inquiry into Presumed Consent for Organ Donation, we will be holding public meetings in Merthyr Tydfil on Wednesday 7 May and in Swansea on Wednesday 21 May. Organ donation can be a sensitive subject, and the Committee wants to find out the views of as many people in Wales as possible.  

The Committee is particularly interested in hearing your views.  You are welcome to attend the meetings and will be able to ask questions and put your views direct to Members of the Committee.  

Come along to the Welsh Assembly Government Office in Rhydycar, Merthyr Tydfil on 7 May or the Liberty Stadium Swansea on 21 May and tell the Committee what you think. The meetings start at 9:00am and members of the public will be able to gain entry from 8:45 am.

The Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee is undertaking an inquiry into the presumed consent for organ donation, and is calling for those with an interest or expertise in this area to submit written evidence.
