Controversial Artwork

That this Assembly:

Whilst recognising the role of artwork to stimulate debate and fully supporting people’s freedom of speech and expression, feels that it is inappropriate and insulting to have such a prominent display of Baroness Thatcher in the National Assembly for Wales.

Many people in Wales will feel it is abhorrent to have such a display of someone who destroyed the lives of many in the South Wales Valleys and indeed the whole of Wales. This Assembly hereby calls for the artwork to be moved to a more suitable venue.
