‘Monitoring of the environmental impact of sand dredging from the Helwick Bank

We the undersigned are deeply disappointed at the granting if a licence for sand dredging from the Helwick Bank. We earnestly request that the Environment Agency commission independent monitoring of the environmental impact, of this dredging, paid for by Llanelli Sand Dredging Ltd. It would be improper for the dredging company to commission its own monitoring, but they should be made to pay for it.’
