About the proposed Measure

A Measure of the National Assembly for Wales to make provision in relation to community involvement in decisions by local authorities in Wales whether to dispose of playing fields; and for connected purposes.

Current Stage

Following agreement by the National Assembly of the text of the proposed Measure, it received Royal Approval on 15 December 2010. The proposed Measure is now a Measure of the National Assembly (a Welsh law).

Plenary Stage 1 Debate

The Assembly agreed to the general principles of the Measure after the Stage 1 debate in Plenary on 1 July 2009. The Financial Resolution was agreed by the Assembly on 23 February 2010.
