About the proposed Measure
To make provision about arrangements for redress in relation to liability in tort in connection with services provided as part of the health service in Wales; and for connected purposes.
Current Stage
The Measure was passed by the Assembly at Stage 4 on 6 May 2008. An explanation of the various stages of Measures can be found in the Guide to Assembly Measures.

Proposed Measure Committee
The Committee was established on 4 July 2007 to consider and report on the general principles of the Proposed Measure (Stage 1). The Committee shall cease to exist if the proposed Measure is passed, falls or is withdrawn, or a new committee is set up to consider Stage 2 proceedings under Standing Order 23.31(ii).
