How We Do Business

Our Values

  • We want our procurement service to be the best - modern, efficient and socially responsible.
  • We put sustainability at the heart of everything we do;
  • We aim to deliver the quality of services that Assembly Members and the public have the right to expect;
  • We are developing a diverse supply chain and will help small suppliers to compete;
  • We'll get value for taxpayer's money - but not just through buying the cheapest.
  • In our dealings with suppliers and the public we'll be transparent and adopt the highest professional standards;
  • We'll ensure all our processes have regard to diversity and equality

Our Suppliers

We expect you to share our aspirations to provide high quality goods and services to Assembly Members and the people of Wales.

We spend taxpayer's funds so you must offer good value for money - not just a cheap price but a balance of quality and cost assessed over the lifetime of the purchase.

We expect you to share the Assembly's vision for the future of Wales by demonstrating your ability to operate sustainably. You will help us to improve the environmental and social outcomes of our contracts and respect and encourage diversity in your own workforce and supply chain.

In return we will co-operate with you to establish clear expectations and standards, work with realism and communicate openly.

We want to be your best customer.
