Petition Wording:

In accordance with the Welsh Assembly Government’s guidance on promoting democracy, we hereby submit a petition setting out our dissatisfaction at Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council’s decision to change the school’s name.

The decision was taken against the will of parents, pupils, staff and school governors. The ten names listed below represent a small portion of those who have protested against this decision.

The Welsh Assembly Government is aware of the situation because we have been contesting this decision for some eighteen months to two years.

We seek to use this new procedure to express our opinion and grievance.
