Events

The Events team aims to increase awareness of the National Assembly for Wales and to encourage people to get involved. The team advise on and arrange events, conferences and seminars across various locations on the Assembly Estate in Cardiff Bay as well as organising events across Wales which give people the opportunity to learn more about the Assembly and how they can make a difference.

We organise a wide range of events including exhibitions, launching of committee inquiries and reports, conferences for a variety of key interest groups, interactive events for children and adults at the Eisteddfodau and Royal Welsh, and preparations for major visits.

In 2009 - 10 the team will be responsible for the 10 year programme of events which aims to reinvigorate interest in the democratic process.

We are responsible for advising on the format and delivery of events all across the Assembly Estate which includes the Senedd, the Pierhead, and Ty Hywel, as well as advising and assisting colleagues on events held all across Wales.

We also work closely with Assembly Members who are the sponsors of every event held on the Assembly Estate, and we are happy to advise them on how to get the best out of each and every event.

We continuously develop our events calendar and welcome any suggestions you may have for events across Wales.
