Holding an Event or Exhibition in the Senedd
All requests to hold an event or exhibition in the Senedd need to be sponsored by an Assembly Member. Any invitations for the event/exhibition should be issued under the name of the sponsoring Assembly Member, who must also be present at the event/exhibition.
Booking requests should be sent via electronic form.
After a provisional entry in the Assembly Calendar for your event has been made, and you have secured Assembly Member sponsorship, you will be e-mailed a copy of the Senedd booking form, which you will need to complete and return.
At this stage, all exhibition/event requests are provisional. As soon as you return your completed booking form, approval will be sought for your exhibition/event to take place. Each application is considered against the guidelines for the use of the Senedd that were approved by the former House Committee.
After your request has been considered you will be contacted and informed whether or not it has been approved.
All organisers of approved exhibitions/events will be provided with the terms and conditions that cover the use of the Senedd. All organisers must sign and return the terms and conditions before staging their exhibition/event.
On the day of your exhibition/event, organisers will be met in the Senedd to ensure that their needs are addressed.
People organising events in the Senedd at lunchtime and 5.30 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays should not plan to deliver speeches after 1:30 pm or before 6.00 pm.
Should you have any queries, or if you wish to visit the Senedd prior to the exhibition/event, please contact the Accommodation Helpdesk on 02920 898088.
