The National Assembly’s Education Programme 2009-2010 timetable of visits to the National Assembly
The Assembly offers 3 educational visits a day on business days, i.e. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays:
10:00 – 12:00 11:00 – 13:00 13:00 – 14:30 (13:00 – 15:00 on Thursdays)
Choose from the following:
Educational Visits
A 2 hour visits which includes a debate in Siambr Hywel, workshop activity and a visit to the Senedd. KS2, KS3, KS4, 16+, colleges, politics and Welsh Bacc groups.(48 pupils maximum)
School Council Visits
A special visit for school councils which includes the opportunity to hold a school council meeting in Siambr Hywel, an activity and a visit to the Senedd. Tuesday and Wednesday including tickets to attend plenary if required.
Plenary Visits
A 1½ hour visit which includes a debate in Siambr Hywel and tickets to plenary. Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons only for 16+ pupils. (30 pupils maximum)
Important Information:
Your local AMs will be invited to meet with you during your visit.We welcome special schools and other youth groups.A lunch area is available for morning visits.You can arrange for an education officer to visit your school or college before or after your visit.Subsidy towards travel costs to the Senedd for eligible schools.
