To request a printed version of the report, please email independentreviewpanel@wales.gov.uk

Anyone can use the Assembly’s publication system to see allowances and expenses claims made by Assembly Members:

  • Office Costs Allowance (i.e. office expenses related to their duties as an Assembly Member)

  • Additional Costs Allowance (i.e. expenses incurred in staying overnight away from their main home for the purpose of performing their duties as a Assembly Member)

  • Travel Costs Allowance (i.e. travel expenses incurred by Assembly Members due to their Assembly duties)

Claims are listed by the month in which the claim was made, not the date that the expense was incurred. Figures included are provisional as they are subject to external audit.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information (Parliament and National Assembly for Wales Order 2008), the following information has not been published:-

  • information relating to any residential address of a member of the Assembly

  • regular travel arrangements of a member of the Assembly (except as to the amount of such travel)

  • the identity of any person who has had access to any residential address of a member of the Assembly as a result of a commercial relationship with the member.

Personal data may be excluded where it would contravene any of the data protection principles contained within the Data Protection Act 1998. In such instances, reference to the item has been omitted from the Schedule and the total shown as claimed has been adjusted accordingly.
