Nerys Evans was elected to the Assembly in 2007. She is Plaid Cymru's Education spokeswoman and is Chair of the cross party groups on Epilepsy and Broadband in rural Wales. She currently sits on the Enterprise and LearningCommittee and has previously been Chair of the Assembly's Broadcasting Sub Committee and one of the Assembly's representatives on the European Committee of the regions. Her political interests include constitutional affairs, rural issues,and workers’ rights.
