Biography

Nick Bourne was first elected to the Assembly in 1999, and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007. He has been leader of the Welsh Conservatives since August 1999, and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly since July 2007. His political interests include the economy, foreign affairs, health and education. Nick sits on the Assembly's European and External Affairs Committee and is the party's spokesman on constitutional matters.
