Hello, My name is Alun Ffred Jones and I’m the Plaid Cymru Assembly member for Arfon. I was first elected to the Assembly in May 2003. Before becoming a television director and producer with Ffilmiau’r Nant I was a Welsh teacher and Journalist with HTV. I’m a former leader of Gwynedd Council, chairman of Nantlle Vale football club and chairman of Antur Nantlle. My interests include theatre, sport in general and cycling. It is an honour for me to represent the people of Arfon. I have worked hard during my time as an Assembly Member to ensure that the views of the people of Arfon are heard down here in Cardiff and I will continue to do that for the next four years.
