Janet Ryder was elected to the Assembly in 1999. She is Chair of the Cross Party Group on Autism and also she is Chair of the Welsh branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Society. Janet is the Chair of the Subordinate Legislation Committee and sits on the Public Accounts Committee and Equality of Opportunity Committee. Her political interests include Education and Local Government.
