My name is Eleanor Burnham and I am the Welsh Liberal Democrat regional Assembly Member for North Wales. I was born in Wrexham and brought up in Gwnodl Fawr, Cynwyd. My early career was in Social Services Management. I was previously a Wrexham Magistrate and a member of Denbigh Hospital Mental Health Tribunal and my political interests lie in full devolution for Wales, social inclusion and lifelong-learning. I am passionate about improving sustainable public transport links between North and South Wales. I am the Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly champion for Culture, Welsh Language and Sport. I am also a qualified aromatherapist and my hobbies include gardening, cycling, swimming and singing, for which I won a prize at the Llangollen Eisteddfod.
