National Assembly for Wales

Video Biography – Text Version | Janice Gregory AM

I’m Janice Gregory, I’m the Labour Assembly for Ogmore and have been since 1999 and the start of the National Assembly for Wales.

I am married to Mike have two wonderful daughters and a beautiful grandson.

My interests in the Assembly are children, jobs, tackling poverty, health and regeneration.

In the last Assembly I was proud to Chair the Social Justice and Regeneration Committee and in this Assembly I chair the Communities and Culture committee, one of only 4 scrutiny committees.

I am a member of a number of All Party Groups such as Animal Welfare,  Deaf Issues, Cancer and nursing to name but a few.

I am always delighted to welcome people from the Ogmore constituency to the National Assembly building in Cardiff Bay so please do get in touch.

Ogmore is my home and I am immensely proud to represent such a  wonderfully diverse constituency with ex-mining valleys to the north and  communities that border the M4 in the south.

Within all of my communities I can see evidence of the good work that the Assembly has done since 1999 and with our new powers I am sure and confident that we can build on that work and make Wales an even better place to live.
