Biography

Peter Black was elected to the Assembly in 1999 and was subsequently re-elected in 2003 and 2007.He is a former Chair of the Welsh Liberal Democrats and his policy interests include housing, local government and tackling substance misuse. Peter is a member of the Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee and Legislation Committee No.3. He is a member of the Assembly Commission, where he has responsibility for ICT and promoting the Assembly. He is also his party's Business Manager and serves on the Business Committee. Peter is the Welsh Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Health, Housing and Local Government.
