Biography

Bethan Jenkins was elected to the Assembly in May 2007. Her political interests include education, community services, equal opportunities and youth involvement in Politics. Bethan is Plaid Cymru's Child Poverty and Culture Spokeswoman at the National Assembly. She sits on the Petitions Committee, the Public Accounts committee, Legislation Committee No.4 and the Communities and Culture Committee. She is the Chair of the Assembly's Cross Party Group on Eating Disorders and has established a cross party group on Human Rights.
