Biography

Born in Swansea and educated at Swansea High School for Girls and University of Wales, Swansea. Worked as a nurse in the primary and tertiary sectors in London, Swansea and Zambia. Also a school teacher in Swansea and Bahrain. Before being elected to the Assembly, she was a senior lecturer in nursing at School of Health Science, University of Wales, Swansea. Also Councillor on the City and County of Swansea.
