Biography

Lynne Neagle was first elected to the Assembly in May 1999. Lynne served as Chair of the Labour Group in the Assembly until 2008. She currently sits on the Children and Young People Committee and the Communities and Culture Committee. Her political interests include health, housing, social services, Europe and the future of the south Wales valleys. Lynne is a campaigning AM with a record of high-profile work on health, education, valleys regeneration and Women's rights.
